Beast Feast: Post-Jam Major Update!

Hello everyone,

We're excited to share that we've made substantial updates to Beast Feast following its initial release during the game jam. We've been working hard on fine-tuning the game, fixing bugs, and enhancing performance to ensure a smoother, more enjoyable experience for all players.

Gameplay Enhancements

• Tank Controls: Our control scheme has been refined to tank controls for a more engaging and immersive experience.
• Improved Camera Controls: Navigation is now smoother and more intuitive with optimized camera controls.
• Dashing & Quick Turning: We've introduced dashing and quick turning for dynamic character movement.
• Knockback and Damage Blink: Combat now features knockback effects and damage blink when your character takes damage.

Significant Performance Improvements

We've paid special attention to improving the game's performance. Now, the game should run smoothly even on less powerful systems.

• Controller Support Everywhere: Gamepad navigation is now possible throughout the game.
• Model Decimation: By optimizing the 3D models, we've reduced lag and improved overall game performance.
• Efficient Enemy AI: Enemies are faster yet less resource-intensive, enhancing the game's performance.

Content Additions

• New Levels: Four new levels have been added, providing more content and challenges for players.

Audio Improvements

• Fixed Music and Sound Bugs: Bugs related to music and sound effects have been fixed for a more immersive audio experience.
• Optimized Voice Clips: Voice clips have been compressed to use less space, improving load times and overall game performance.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed Scaling Issues: Size scaling issues that affected gameplay have been resolved.
• Fixed Various Bugs: Numerous other bugs have been squashed as part of this update.
